a list of "How To Sources" for your blog

Over the last couple of weeks I have helped a few friends (Anna, Kendall, and Leasa) with some blog tweaks. I am certainly not an expert, but I thought I would pass along my "list" of how to sources. Maybe you will find something helpful.

List of sources

Layout - The layouts I use are from Our Blogger Templates. My favs are Newspaper (I am currently using this one), Shush, and Photoblog.

How to add a background pattern- I like to use Pattern Cooler. You can find the instructions HERE

How to edit pictures without Photoshop - I have photoshop elements, but I don't know how to use it very well. I usually use picnik. It's free, easy,  and has a lot of features.

How to add a twitter or facebook logo button
google "twitter or facebook logo" images and find one that you like and save the image. (right click and save image as)

In blogger go to
-design
-add a gadget
-picture

       -link- add the url for your twitter or facebook page
       -image - add the twitter or facebook image that you just saved
       -save

If the image that you use is too big you may need to resize it using photoshop, photoshop elements, or picik (free).
