Little Boy's Room Inspiration

I have begun the search for inspiration for my son's room. It will soon be time to move him from a toddler bed to a twin bed. This means new bedding and possibly new accessories.

I want something that is fun, but also something that can grow with him.

So far I'm thinking that I would like to find a quilt, a headboard that can be painted, and I'll probably paint some new canvases for him.

I don't want his room to really have a theme, but the artwork will most likely be sports related since it will be easy to change out.

His current furniture is painted navy blue so we will definitely be keeping it.

These are the quilts that I like so far.

The Company Store

I'm not ready to commit to either of these just yet, but I'll let you know when I do. Little boy's rooms can be so much fun.

  1. Good luck with that Nikki. Boys rooms seem so much harder to do than girls rooms!
I also love the quilt idea. Also check Kohls. I know Dockers has a cute pattern too!

  2. I love the first one. I noticed it when I was looking for my son's big boy bedding. Can't wait to see what you do!

  3. I like the Company Store quilt better - really colorful :)

  4. I like both of those, Nikki.

Make sure to check out, they usually have nice kids' quilts, too. Make sure to use ebates if you buy from them for cash back :)

    Have fun decorating!

  5. Here's a nice one, the colors are so soothing and calm and definitely go with navy and a little boy...and it would grow with him, too:

  6. Here's a couple of other nice ones, definitely for a boy. I won't send anymore, they have so many, check them out :)

  7. I love the look of the quilt from Company Store, but I also like the simplicity of the one from Target. Right now, Henry has a denim duvet cover. I like the way it looks and always add red and blue. I think I have pics of his room on my bloggy page long ago.

Good luck! I'm sure it will be spectacular, though.

  8. i love the patchwork one! i've recently seen one similar at the pb outlet...

  9. Have fun with the room. A word of advice - get a multi-color and/or multi pattern quilt. It hides stuff better. Because boys are messy!

  10. I like the one from The Company Store. :)

  11. Find Boys Bedding to create a unique bedroom for your child.

  12. store offering Sporting goods, Bedding, Clothing, Sports Camps & Leagues directory, Kids Online Games and more. Sports stuff for kids and families with huge discounts.
