30th Birthday Post #1

Does anyone else love it when your birthday turns into a week long celebration?

The husband and I are taking a trip and will be gone on my actual birthday so we celebrated last night with family and will be celebrating with other friends and family next week.

I didn't want my mom to have to cook so we just ordered pizza and she made me a WONDERFUL strawberry cake! YUM!

My parents gave me some cash that I will have fun spending on our trip and my sis gave me a memory card for my phone. We had a photo shoot with all of the fam and then my sis said, "hey, can you take me to Wal-Mart?" Sure, I can do that.

She wanted to buy me a new camera.

She is the best sister EVER! I can't believe she bought me a camera. I'm really excited.

This is what I got.

Nice and small to fit in my pocket or purse and user friendly. I need user friendly, b/c I'm not very techie. I love that is has a Rechargeable lithium-ion battery. My other camera went through AA's faster than I could keep up with.

I'll be packing and cleaning today to get ready for the trip to Orlando. I can't wait.
