What's Different So Far

Are you ready for another baby post, or are you tired of them?

So far this pregnancy has been very different from my first.

-I have always heard that you start showing much sooner with your 2nd (or 3rd or 4th) pregnancy. No one told me that my clothes would quit fitting before I even knew I was pregnant. See this post for proof.

-Since my clothes were super snug, as in way too uncomfortable to wear, I broke out the maternity jeans the day I peed on the stick and got a positive. I was just glad to know why nothing fit. I was also glad that most of my regular shirts were long enough so that no one else could detect the maternity jeans.

- I had some morning and all day sickness this time around. I didn't with my first pregnancy.

- I remember napping most evenings after work with the first one, but I have slept more than I could have dreamed with this one. I thought it was getting better, but I slept the entire weekend.

-Cravings- I've had a LOT of them this time. I don't remember them last time. I may have had a few, but nothing like this. It's been strange stuff too, not strange food, but strange for me to want that particular food.

  1. I know what you mean! My two have been completely different, too. And they are both boys. Strange, huh?

  3. My second pregnancy has been completely different then the first one as well (which is why I was surprised to find out it's another girl)! Don't be surprised if you outgrow your maternity clothes BEFORE your third trimester this time around as well. Just some advice, buy as little clothes as possible!

  4. Isn't it funny how different everything is? I've had 3 pregnancies, 3 babies and each one is totally unique.

  5. I fought maternity clothes with #2 and with this pregnancy, I busted them out REALLY early. Who isn't more comfortable in stretchy pants? I mean really, my clothes barely fit before I peed on the stick...I had gained a few unwanted pounds and refused to buy bigger clothes, so getting pregnant was an awesome solution! :)

And I have fought my daily nap all thorugh this pregnancy. Here I am at 27 weeks and can't seem to shake them!
