I have been working here and there on making some changes to our master bedroom.
I spent almost $0 and the difference is pretty significant.
(it also helps that these pics were taken with a MUCH nicer camera)
It basically began from me changing everything around in my house.
I decided I wanted all of my green stuff (lamps) in the bedroom,
and the blue stuff (curtains) in the dining room/living room.
(The blue is in the process of leaving those rooms too.)

What I did
-I painted a new nightstand for my side of the bed.
-Added lamps that used to be in the living room.
-I made a green pillow using some cast off fabric from a friend.
-I made a brown pillow cover from a Euro sham that I bought at the thrift store for $2
(easiest pillow cover ever)
-I changed out the scrapbook paper in the frames above the bed $2
-I traded the blue patterned curtains for the white ones from the dining room.
Not bad for very little $!

ReplyDeleteGreat job...thanks for sharing!
ReplyDeleteVery nice! I like how you used the white pillows for some brightness against the deeper tones. Your punch of colour is fun too!
