the project list

Here is the very long project list for the new house. He have started making some progress, but still have a long way to go. I don't know the exact order or time frame that all of this will be completed in, but we have our work cut out for us.

If I look a this list too long I get very overwhelmed. I keep trying to remind myself that this is a process. I have a house to unpack and a husband and 2 boys that need me to be wife and mommy.

Exterior

purchase/build playset for the boys

Living Room
tile floors
finish grout around the edges (a friend helped the Mr. with the grouting during the day while he was at work and didn't know that we were grouting the edge instead of installing shoe molding)
paint walls

hang curtains
get a wall mount for tv and install

purchase rug  (thank you friends)

fabric for new ottoman slipcovers

If I look a this list too long I get very overwhelmed. I have a husband and 2 boys that need me to be wife and mommy, a house to unpack, and the never ending loads of laundry.  I keep trying to remind myself that this is a process.

One day I will have some pics to show you.

  3. Yes, it is a process, Nikki! I think I mentioned in a previous comment that it has taken us years to redo our home. We're still working on it. It is somewhat frustrating not to have everything done at once, but it is good for the pocket book, and frankly, good for the soul. Let God guide you, and appreciate what you are able to do, as you do it! You've done so much already!
