It's official! As of yesterday morning Henry is ONE!
Sleep - Bedtime is 7 pm and he sleeps until 8:30-9:00 am
Naps - morning nap 10 am, afternoon nap 2 pm (each nap lasts anywhere from 2 - 3 hours)
Eating - He is eating like a champ. Most of the time he eats as much as Cade. I was making Cade a PB&J sandwich a few days ago and he insisted that I give him some. We was almost a year so I gave him a bite and that turned into a 1/4 of a sandwich. It's now one of his fav things to eat. We have mastered the sippy cup this month and are done with bottles. He has also made a smooth transition from formula to milk. I have learned with Henry that change needs to happen slowly, so at 11 months ( I did not consult with my Pediatrician, I just did it) I started adding milk to his bottles of formula. I did it very gradually and now he likes his cup of milk.
First/Milestones - Jan 14th (the day before we moved) he took his first step. He took 2 more for my mother that same night, and hasn't really done it since. He still has 8 teeth, but is working on 4 molars. I can tell they have been tough, but he has been a little trooper. He has started to lay his head on my (or Daddy's) chest when he gets up in the morning or for a nap, and it is the sweetest thing ever. He also started shaking his head no.
Size - Clothes - 12 months, Diapers- 3
Height/Weight - Hasn't had his well visit yet.
His birthday party will be this weekend, so I will have some party pics to post next week. I decided to keep things very simple, so we'll see how it goes.
WOAH!!! How is he this old already!!!
ReplyDeleteHe is such a doll, Nikki!!!
Happy Birthday to our Feb. 9th babies! Abby has been walking since 10.5 months and yet still only has 1/2 a tooth! I can't believe Henry has 8 with molars on the way! :)
