Let's Gather - A Thanksgiving Mantlescape

Hi there, if you are here for the first time from the Let's Gather Blog Hop, Welcome!

I am Nikki, and I am thrilled for you to be here. I am stop number 6, so by the time you have landed here, you should already be very inspired for Thanksgiving.

I will not be hosting, or even cooking anything for Thanksgiving this year, so I decided to create a Thanksgiving Mantlescape that we can enjoy all month long.

And when I say mantlescape, I really mean that I decorated the top of my upright piano because I don't have a mantle to decorate.

I wanted to keep things fairly neutral and very simple, so I gathered a few things that I already had around the house.

Supplies
-Burlap
-Teal Burlap Ribbon
-Teal Yarn
-Ceramic Pumpkins
-Mercury Glass Candle Stick Holders
-Chalkboard

Tips for Creating a Simple Mantlescape
1. Don't over think it.
2. Use items with varying heights.
3. Mix finishes or styles to keep it interesting.
4. Add texture in some way.
5. Less is more.

I hope you have been inspired to create a Simple Thanksgiving Mantlescape for your your home.

Thank you so much for stopping by. Be sure to check out the other stops on this blog hop.You can find a link to each stop at the bottom of this post.

I really love this, I am always using burlap to drape over stuff... and, those profile canvases are really neat, too! I would love to do something like that at our home.
