The Boy's Room Update and Some Good Food

I finally decided on the bedding from the Company Store in this post and I love it. I'm glad I got it when I did because it is no longer available. I have never purchased anything from them before now, but I am impressed. This quilt is super soft. Thank you Liz, for introducing me to the Company Store.

We are officially in the process of getting my son's room ready for a twin bed. (He is currently in a toddler bed). We have rearranged the room, purchased a new quilt and curtains, and purchased a beanbag because he thinks beanbags are "awesome". I have been revamping some of his current art work to go with the new colors and trying to decide on some new things. Now, he needs a bed. We still haven't bought one yet, but we will eventually. Since we don't have a bed yet this is all you get.


Here he is watching tv in the office with the new beanbag and quilt not wanting to look at the camera because he is too cool for that.

Now, on the the good food part.

Have you been to Kevin and Amanda's Recipe Blog? You must go now and take a look at these recipes. I don't think you could go wrong with any of them as long as you don't eat too much. They are all full fat, but super delish.

Last weekend I made this Breakfast Casserole, and this Alfredo Sauce. I didn't make the chicken because the husband's fave is Crab Alfredo so I added crab meat after the sauce was done. Let's just say that he was super impressed. Her pictures are way better than mine so just go see for yourself. I plan on making this Chocolate Cake next.

We are going to relax these weekend. I really need to work in the yard, but it can wait. We have a busy month so we are going to take it easy. I hope you are enjoying your weekend too.
