Creating Appliqued T's

I am all about handmade gifts. Most of the gifts I do are painted, but sometimes I like to branch out a bit. I know that I'm not the first person to do this, it is quite popular, but it is still one of my favorites - The Appliqued T.

Appliqued t's are so easy and the possibilities are endless. There are also several different ways to do them, but my usual go to way is with Therm O Web HeatnBond.

My son had a birthday party to go to for a 1 yr. old little girl and I knew that I wanted to make her something cute. This is what I came up with.

The monogram T.

and a cute little Christmas Tree T.

Directions
- choose fabric and t-shirt
-choose letter or shape and make template
-use your template to trace the shape onto your bond paper
-iron (see directions on bond paper package) bond paper to your fabric
-cut the shape out of the fabric following the shape of the bond paper you just ironed to it
-iron (see directions on bond paper package) letter or shape to the front of the shirt

Once your t's are complete wrap them up cute and they are ready for gift giving.
