Another First

It seems like he just got rid of the binky, and now he has had his first hair cut.

Dear time, please so down.

You are moving too fast for this mommy.

I like short little boy hair cuts, but for some reason I wasn't ready for this little man to get one yet.

I kept saying that I would get his hair cut after his one year pics. (they were taken at 14 months)

That came and went and I still wasn't ready.

I then said I would get it cut when his hair started getting in his eyes. I just started putting a bobby pin in his hair while it was wet and would then take it out. He didn't mind.

This evening when I was bathing him his hair was all matted up. That did it. It was time. I got him out of the bath and all ready for his hair cut. On a whim I decided that I could do it myself. I put him in his booster seat with a snack and turned his fav cartoon on. He sat up like a big boy and didn't wiggle too much. It was done. All of his sweet little curls were on my dining room floor.

I was sad, but then he looked at me with those sweet big blue eyes and smiled.

I could see all of his eyes.
