something a little unexpected

As in, I never expected to actually want a vintage phonograph console. My husband sent me a text Monday with a picture of this thing asking if I knew of anyone that wanted a working phonograph console that was in excellent condition. I told him that I didn't know of anyone, but I thought that the cabinet itself was pretty cool looking. I did a little rearranging and told him to bring it home.

The husband told me he had always wanted one. Who knew? I like the way it looks and now my husband can now play his records. Yes, my husband still has records and I have a feeling that he will start adding to his collection.

So there you have it, we have a record player. Do any of you have something fun in your house that just kind of came about?
