This weeks Dare to DIY challenge was to create something that reminds you to be thankful. My original plan was to make cute turkey pillow using fun fabric scraps, but it didn't happen. As of Friday we went into official birthday party planning mode and that is all that happened around here over the weekend. But, I am committed to the challenge and to being thankful, so I modified my plan for a turkey pillow and went with a cute turkey on the chalkboard in our kitchen. I think he's pretty cute.
I am thankful for Jesus. I am also thankful that I have such a great husband and two wonderful little boys. I have truly been blessed. What are you thankful for?
I am thankful for you and your site! You are amazing! Of course, I am thankful that God has allowed me the opportunity to bring two sweet little girls home from China! What a blessing to be adding to my already wonderful family! I am certainly blessed far beyond what I ever expected!
ReplyDeleteIf I could draw like that I would have a whole wall dedicated to a chalkboard, I love your turkey!
ReplyDeleteDon't you love chalkboards? They can make projects work even when they don't go just as planned. Love your turkey and the fact that we are all thinking about what makes us thankful!
ReplyDeleteHope birthday planning is going really well! Thanks so much for linking up!
That is one cute turkey! Can you come over to my house to draw one? Oh, and make a chalk board?
ReplyDeleteThat turkey is adorable! Yay for chalkboards!
ReplyDeleteI just did a DIY chalkboard...but I can't say that there is anything this adorable on mine! Love it!
